I submitted this to Inspire Me Thursday “Open Challenge”. I’m just continuing to draw on big 22″ x 28″ paper… but I haven’t been regularly drawing lately since I’ve been busy shooting pictures.

As for writing something about my work… You can just read what I wrote @ Moleskinerie.

I entered an art event but I was not accepted… just one of those frustrations :-)

I prefer drawing to talking. Drawing is faster, and leaves less room for lies. -
Le Corbusier

I’m just trying to study certain techniques. “Am I drawing it the right way?” – Personal conversation goes into my head when I draw. On the left, I tried to draw my left hand the “right” way the best that I can. On the right, the process is not guided primarily by the subject in front of me but how I feel about it in terms of
lines, shapes, colors.

Drawing the hand on the left is more stressful because of self critical judgements compared to the free flowing process drawing the hand on the right. Whether it is good or bad, right or wrong, it really does not matter since it is more of a personal expression.
