Pencil on sketchbook.
I joined the Everyday Matters Drawing Group today, this is for challenge #23 - "Draw Your Foot".
This is drawn in front of a mirror, drawing with my other hand; which is a bad idea because this pose hurts your back :-)
update(8-1-2005): Ulk, I just noticed how bad this drawing is... I'm really not good drawing from life. I should always remember what I wrote here.

No, this is really good. It has some kind of abstract-ish proportions, which make it very pleasing and reminds me of some great artist, but I can't exactly put my finger on just who I'm thinking of ... it is the curves and angles and light versus dark ... just can't think of who it is! Drawing is such a great tool to explore the universe, the perception, ourselves, the daily life and so on.
