Tribute to Jack

9" x 12" acylic with ink on canvas

See it large.

For Inspire me Thursday March#2 Challenge.

update 03/15/2006: Thanks for the spotlight.

I have some recent thoughts on this... Though in IMT they titled the challenge "Sense-Less" - create a piece using only minimal senses(see, touch, hear, taste and smell), I think all finished works will always make sense. "Sense-Less" should only apply to the process and not to the resulting piece itself.

This must have been great fun to do! I think you've even outdone Jack the Dripper:> Was it liberating to move away from linework and creating shapes to simply flinging paint?

Wow, where have you been hiding! DO you have some type of bio that talks about who you are, what you do, how you learned about art? Your style is frieken awesome and you have used so many different mediums. I love it! I am a first year art student so wondered if you are a self-taught artist or did you go to university? Great work! Brandi
